CHAP. 253

To lay railway
tracks.

they are hereby empowered to authorize any person or cor-
poration to lay street railway tracks on St. Paul s'treet in Bal-
timore city, from Huntingdon avenue northerly to the city
limits.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of

Repeal.

Acts, in so far as they are inconsistent herewith, be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 31, 1906.

CHAPTER 254.

AN ACT to refund Joseph Muir the sum of money paid by
him to the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State and
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset County,
and converted into the Treasury of the State, for licenses
to dredge for oysters with the Bug-eye " Hattie Whit-
tington," which Bug-eye was wrecked a short time after
the issuance of said license.

WHEREAS, Joseph Muir, on the 28th day of October, 1904,
procured license No. 333, from the Comptroller of the
Treasury, for the bug-eye "Hattie Whittington," and six

(6) hands to dredge for oysters during the season beginning
November 1, 1904, and ending March 15, 1905, paying
therefor to said Comptroller the sum of thirty-four dollars
and sixty-five cents ($34.65); and on the 15th day of
October, 1904, procured license. No. 80 from the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Somerset county for said bug-eye and six
(6) hands, to dredge for oysters in the waters of said
county, for the season beginning said 15th day of October,
and ending said 15th day of March, paying therefor to
said clerk the sum of eighteen dollars and fifty cents
($18.50); and

WHEREAS, The said bug-eye "Hattie Whittington" was
wrecked and lost on a submerged rock in the Potomac river
on the 3d day of November, 1904, and the said bug-eye,
not, therefore, having been used at all for dredging for
oysters during the said season, therefore,
