Receipts for the fiscal year 1949 showed a substantial increase over
those for the previous fiscal year, and during that year, in turn, more had
been received than in any other year. Some of this increase is due to the
fact that orders for publications continue to come in, and each year an
additional title is added. Other receipts derive from projection prints—
enlargements of microfilm—which we began to make during this past year
from the county records on film made by the Genealogical Society of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
