Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

Mr. Mackubin, chairman of the committee on Claims, made
an unfavorable report upon the application of John H. Reed
for property alleged to be destroyed by the Confederate
troops; which,

On motion of Mr. Denison,
Was laid upon the table.

On motion of Mr. Scott,

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, a
supplement to an act to incorporate the Baltimore, Catons-
ville and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Rail way Company, passed
at January session 1860, chapter 34, with proposed Senate
amendment.

Amendment proposed:

In section 1, line 5, after the word "feet," insert "and not
exceeding in length, parallel with the line of said road one
hundred yards, at and from Guynn's Falls, on said road."

The question being upon concurring in the Senate amend-
ment,

Which was adopted.

The question then recurring upon the bill as amended,
