SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|

of Maryland, That the Woodland Bridge Company
|
|
|
|
be and the same is hereby revived and created, with
|
|
|
|
all the rights, privileges .and powers conferred on it by
|
|
|
|
chapter eighty-five of the acts of the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, passed at the January session, in the
|
|
|
|
year eighteen hundred and fifty-four, entitled "An act
|
|
|
|
to incorporate a company to erect a bridge over the
|
|
|
|
Patuxent river, between Anne Arundel and Prince
|
|
|
|
George's counties," amended by chapter two hundred
|
|
|
|
and ninety-eight of the acts of the General Assembly
|
|
|

year eighteen hundred and seventy-six, entitled "An
|
|
|
|
act to repeal, amend and re-enact section four of the
|
|
|
|
acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
|
|
|
|
the January session, in the year eighteen hundred and
|
|
|
|
fifty-four, chapter eighty-five, entitled 'An act to in-
|
|
|
|
corporate a company to erect a bridge over the Patux-
|
|
|
|
ent river, between Anne Arundel and Prince George's
|
|
|
|
counties;'" provided the said company organize on
|
|
|
|
or before the first day of June next ensuing the pass-
|
|
|
|
age of this act, and that section one of said chapter
|
|
|
|
eighty-five of the acts of eighteen hundred and fifty-
|
|
|
|
four, entitled as above, be and the same is hereby
|
|
|
|
amended so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That William B. Hill, of Prince George's
|
|
|
|
county, and Joseph Shepherd, Joseph Chaney and
|
|
|
|
Samuel Gardner, of Anne Arundel county, and such
|
|
|
|
other citizens of this state as may be .associated with
|
|
|

them, be and they are hereby made a body politic and

|
|
and corporate.

pany, and as such may sue and be sued, implead and

be impleaded, have and use a common seal, and

the same alter and renew at pleasure, and have

perpetual succession, for the purpose of erecting and
