favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to provide for taking the vote of
the people in Election District Number Nine, of Garrett
county, for or against the annexation to Allegany county at
the election for Congress, to be held in the fall oi 1876.

Mr. Mattingly, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act, to divide the 4th Election Dis-
trict of St. Mary's county, and to create an additional
Election District in said county, to be styled the 7th Election
District.

Mr. Whitelock, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 55 to 64, in-
clusive, of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, en-
titled "Collector," and Sections 78 to 90, inclusive, entitled
"Treasurer," and enact the following, entitled "Treasurer
and Collector," in lieu thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Browning, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at the
January Session, 1874, chapter 506, entitled an Act for the
Taxation of Dogs in the State of Maryland, so far as the same
relates to Garrett county.

Mr. Neal, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at
January Session, 1874, chapter 436, entitled an Act to repeal
chapter 169, of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act for the better
protection of Partridges in Queen Anne's county, and also
to add an additional Section to Article 98 of the Code.

Mr. Stewart, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 25, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
