Mr. Rutledge, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to amend Section 135, of Article 12,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford county,"
sub-title "Sheriff," as amended by chapter 24, Act of 1874,
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Ward, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
bly,
A bill entitled an Act regulating and making lawful the
setting of pound nets in the waters of the Elk, Sassafras and
Bohemia Rivers and their tributaries, in Cecil county.
Which was read a first time.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the
Whole, Mr. Hoblitzell in the chair,
To consider the bill entitled a supplement to the Acts in-
corporating the Western Maryland Railroad Company, and
conferring new powers on said company.
Said bill being upon a third reading.
After some time spent in Committee of the Whole, the
Committee rose, and through Mr. Hoblitzell, Chairman,
reported that the Committee had had under consideration
the bill entitled a supplement to the Acts incorporating the
Western Maryland Railroad Company, and conferring new
powers on said Company, and reported favorably thereon,
and asked to be discharged from the further consideration
thereof.
The Report of the Committee was adopted, and the Com-
mittee accordingly discharged.
Said bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
