ty or a facsimile of his signature shall be printed, engraved
or written thereon, said bonds shall bear interest from the
date thereon at a rate not exceeding four per cent. (4%)
per annum, and shall be exempt from all State, County, and
municipal taxation.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That said bonds shall be
issued bearing date as of the first day of the month in which
they were issued, shall be numbered consecutively beginning
with number one (No. 1), and shall be payable as follows:

Ten (10) bonds in 1939,

Ten (10) bonds in 1940,

Ten (10) bonds in 1941,

Ten (10) bonds in 1942,

Ten (10) bonds in 1943,

Ten (10) bonds in 1944,

Ten (10) bonds in 1945,

Ten (10) bonds in 1946,

Ten (10) bonds in 1947,

Ten (10) bonds in 1948,

Ten (10) bonds in 1949,

Ten (10) bonds in 1950,

Ten (10) bonds in 1951,

Ten (10) bonds in 1952,

Ten (10) bonds in 1953.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said interest
coupons and said bonds shall be payable at the office of the
Treasurer of Dorchester County, and whenever such coupon
or coupons, bond or bonds shall have been paid off or redeemed
it or they shall be cancelled or destroyed by the Treasurer of
Dorchester County and note thereof made on the record of
said bond or bonds.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester County, Maryland, shall advertise
the sale of said bonds in at least two newspapers published in
Dorchester County and one newspaper published in Baltimore
City, and by such other advertisements as may to them seem
proper and advisable, inviting sealed proposals for the pur-
chase of said bonds or any part thereof, with the privilege to
the said The County Commissioners of Dorchester County,
Maryland, to reject any and all bids and no bid shall be
accepted at less than par, the said The County Commissioners
of Dorchester County, Maryland, shall advertise said bonds
for such a length of time as to them shall seem adequate and
shall offer said bonds either all at the same time or at different
intervals and in such amounts as may be most advantageous
to the said school building Commissions, and no part of the
