the Acts of 1886, codified as Sections 802 to 805, inclusive, of
the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1927
Edition), which plan or system of indexing was approved by
the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, as required by said pro-
visions of law, on or about July 1, 1886, so that all deeds, con-
veyances and other papers required by law to be recorded
among the land records of Baltimore City, shall be indexed
upon the plan or system aforesaid.

CHAPTER 405.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 4 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore
City', sub-title "Police Commissioner", said new section to
be known as Section 745FP, to follow immediately after
Section 745F of said Article, to fix the qualifications, and
compensation for certain members of the Radio Division of
the Police Department of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That one new section be and it is hereby added to Article
4 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Police Commissioner", said new
section to be known as Section 745FF, to follow immediately
after Section 745F of said Article, and to read as follows:

745FF. All Radio Operators, Dispatchers and Maintenance
Men permanently assigned to the Radio Division of the Police
Department of Baltimore City shall be required to be holders
of a radio operator's license issued by the United States Fed-
eral Communications Commission and shall receive the sal-
aries and compensation now or hereafter provided for per-
sons of the rank of Sergeant. The Chief Operator in charge
of said Radio Division shall be required to be the holder of a
first class radio operator's license issued by the United States
Federal Communications Commission and shall be classified
as Lieutenant and shall receive the salary and compensation
now or hereafter provided for persons of the rank of Captain.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.
