erecting same, keeping it in repair and keeper's salary
by levy on the assessable property in two said counties,
and providing that bonds may be issued and sold to
pay costs of erecting same if desired, and to repeal all
Acts inconsistent with this Act "

favorably.

Senate bill, File No. 214, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore, Annapolis and Bay Side Elec-
tric Railway Company."

Which was read the second time.
Also favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 21, entitled "An Act to amend
the charter of the Cambridge and Chesapeake Rail-
road Company, and ratify the proceedings of the
Board of Incorporators and Directors of said com-
pany."

Which was read the second time.

Also favorably with amendments.

Senate bill, File No. 344, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Tube Delivery and Dispatch Company."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

"Section 9. And be it further enacted that nothing-
in this Act shall permit the manufacturing or sale of
gas for heat or illuminating purposes or the genera-
tion of electric powers in Baltimore city or Baltimore
county.

Change the numbers of "section 9" and "section 10."

Also favorably.

Senate bill, File No. — , entitled "An Act to amend
the charter of the Hagerstown and West Eud Railway
Company, a corporations duly incorporated under the
provisions of Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, and to grant certain additional
powers to said railway company."
