devident to a Red oake Standing on the South Side of a Cart Road deviding from the Land of John Godden being
of the Same devident Called Mulberey Grove Thence with a Lyne drawne North thirty Six degrees Easterly Th(ree)
hundred fifty & Eight perches to a white oake Corner tree deviding between y Sd parcell of Land & the Land (of)
Samuell Davis belonging to the aforesaid Devident formerly Sold to John Emmett thence with a Line drawne
Northwest Two hundred and Twenty Eight perches to a marked oake Standing within the branch devideing
betweene the Said parcell of Land & William Rounds it being part of the Same devident belonging formerly
to John Emett Sould to him by Collo:Stevens thence with a Line drawne west & by South twenty eight perches
thence with a Line drawne Northwest fifty four perches to the first bounder or Corner tree belonging to the
devident Containing by estimacon Six hundred acres more of Lesse with all & every the Lands Tennements
Rights members & appurtenances to the Same or any part or parcell thereof belonging or appertaining
Togeather with all Deedes Evedences pattents grants Charters escripts writings and minuments whatsoever
of or Concerning the Same To have and to hold the Same & Every part & parcell thereof To him the said
George Truitt & to the onely proper use & behoofe of the Said George Truitt his heires & assignes for Ever
without any Mortgage Condition redemtion use of Limitacon to alter recall Chardge or determine the Same
the rents & Services due to the Lord or Lords of the ffee allwayes excepted & foreprized And the said Elizabeth
Stevens widowe the Late wife of Collo William Stevens gentl: deceased doe for her Selfe her heires executors
administrators & assignes Covenant promise & grant To and with the Said George Truitt his heires
executors administrators & assignes And to and with Every of them by these presents in manner & forme
following That is to Say that She the Said Elizabeth Stevens now is and Standeth Lawfully possessed and
interested of and in the Said parcell of Land & premisses being part of a devident of Land Called Mulberey
Grove with all wholey & Singularly the appurtenances thereof And that She the said Elizabeth Stevens
have good right full power & Lawfull Authority in her Selfe to give grant bargain allien Sell Con(vey?)
enfeoff & Confirme the Said Land & pr:misses with the & every the appurtenances unto him the Sd: George
Truitt his heires executors administrators and assignes in manner and forme as aforesaid
And that he the Said George Truitt his heires executors administrators and assignes Shall or Lawfully
may from time to time and all times for Ever hereafter Stand and remayne amply perfectly firmly
effectually & Lawfully Seized & possessed of and in the premisses And Shall or may peaceably & quietly
hold occupy and possess and with peace & quiett enjoy the Land aforesaid Together with all & wholey
Commodities heriditaments & appurtenances there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining with(out)
the Lawfull Lett Sute Trouble Interuption or disturbance of any person or persons whatsoever And also
free & Cleare freely & Clearly acquitted exonerated & discharged or otherwise insufitiently Saved and kept
harmles of and from all & all manner of former or other bargaines Sales guifts grants Leases
Rights Titles Dowers fines forfeitures Mortgages Statutes recognizances execucons rents Anuities
Chardges Burthens & Incumbrances whatsoever had made don or Suffered or to be had made done or Suffered
by the said Elizabeth Stevens or any of her executers administrators or assignes or by any other party or parties
whatsoever And also that She the Said Elizabeth Stevens aforesaid and the heires executrs: administratrs:& assignes
of any of hers Shall & will from time to Time and at all times hereafter at the reasonable request and at
onely Cost & Chardge in Law of the Said George Truitt his heires executrs: administrators: or assignes make doe Ack
nowledge execute & Suffer or Cause to be made done acknowledged executed & Suffered all & Every Such further and
other Act and Acts thing & Things devize & devizes assurance & assurrances in the Law whatsoever for y further
& more full perfect and absolute Settling assuring and Conveying of the Said parcell of Land being part of a (grant or)
devident Called Mulberey Grove aforesd: & Every of the appurtenances unto the Said George Truitt his exectrs:
administrators or assignes or his or there Councell Learned in the Lawes Shall be reasonable advised devized and
required In Witnes whereof the Sd: Elizabeth to this present Indenture have in presence of the Witnesses whose
Names are hereunder Subscribed as Testimoneys Sett my hand & Seale the day & year first above written
Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of us Elizabeth Stevens (Sealed)
Wm: Coulbourne Edmund Howard
Memorandum This above written allienation was acknowledged to be the right of the above mentioned George
