                           CHAPTER 427.

AN ACT authorising the Register of Wills of Prince
     George's county to procure the repairing or re-binding
     of certain record books.



     Passed May
31, 1853.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the register of wills of Prince
George's county, be and he is hereby authorised and
directed to procure the repairing or rebinding of such,
and so many of the record books in his office, as the
justices of the orphans' court of said county shall direct
to be re-bound or repaired, and the amount of money
necessary to pay for the same, shall be levied on the
assessable property of the county aforesaid, and collected
and paid to the said register as other county charges
are levied, collected and paid; Provided, the same
shall not exceed the sum of one hundred dollars.
Authority to
have re-bound
record books.
     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.
In force.


                           CHAPTER 428.

AN ACT to make valid an Indenture of Mortgage from
               Andrew Eichner to Jacob Eichner.

31, 1853.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the indenture of mortgage of certain
property in the city of Baltimore, situated on the
South side of Lombard near Cove street, executed by
Andrew Eichner, of the city of Baltimore, to Jacob
Eichner of the same place on the sixth day of September
eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and recorded on
the second day of May, eighteen hundred and forty-nine,
among the Land Records of Baltimore county,
in Liber A. W. B. number four hundred and twelve,
folio four hundred and forty-one, &c., be and the same
is hereby declared to be valid to all intents and purposes
as if the same had been recorded within the time required
by law; Provided, that nothing in this act shall
be construed to effect the rights of other persons, creditors
of the said Andrew Eichner or claiming title to the
property mentioned in said mortgage by conveyance of
Indenture declared
valid.
