     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

                           CHAPTER 321.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from Samuel Sigler and
     wife to Henry N. Shaw, of Allegany county; also to
     make valid a deed from Ashford Lake and Susanna
     his wife, and Hugh Hann, to the said Henry N. Shaw.



     Passed May
27, 1853.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the instrument of writing purporting
to be a deed of conveyance of an interest in certain
lands lying in Allegany county, executed by Samuel
Sigler and Sarah Sigler, his wife, of Licking county, in
the State of Ohio, to Henry N. Shaw, of Allegany
county in this State, and bearing date on the tenth day
of November, in the year eighteen hundred and thirty-eight,
and the instrument of writing purporting to be a
deed of conveyance of several interests in the same
lands, being the real estate of Hugh Hann, formerly of
Allegany county, deceased, executed by Ashford Lake
and Susanna, his wife, and Hugh Hann, of Licking
county, in the State of Ohio, to the said Henry N.
Shaw, bearing date on the twenty-eighth day of November,
in the year eighteen hundred and forty-three,
be, and the said two deeds or instruments of writing
are hereby severally declared to be as good and valid in
law as if they had severally been acknowledged agreeably
to the laws of this State.
     Deed made
valid.
     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That the clerk of the
circuit court for Allegany county, be, and he is hereby
required to record the said deeds among the land records
of said county; Provided, that nothing in this act
shall in any manner be construed to effect the rights of
creditors or bona fide purchasers without notice who
have become so, before the said deeds shall have been
recorded.
     Clerk to record

Proviso.
     SEC. 3.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
