wife, of the District of Columbia, parties of the first
part and the United States of America, party of the
second part.
That the said parties of the first part, for and incon-
sideration of the sum of twelve thousand one hundred,
and nine 7-100 dollars, lawful money of the United
States to them in hand paid by the party of the second
part, the receipt of which before the sealing and de-
livery of these presents is hereby acknowledged, have
given, granted, bargained, and sold, aliened, enfeoffed,
released, conveyed and confirmed and do by these
presents, give, grant, bargain and sell, alien, enfeoff,
release, convey and confirm unto the party of the
second part the following described land and premises
situate, lying and being partly in Prince George's
county, in the State of Maryland, and partly in the
District of Columbia, as shown on a plat of the survey
of certain tracts of land called "Oxon Hill, " "Oxon
Hill Manor, " "Bean's Bargain, " "Pleasant Hills, "
"Barnaba Manor" and "Talbott's Lot, " made by Wm.
J. Latimer, and filed in equity cause No. 1208, in the
Circuit Court for Prince George's county aforesaid,
the said pieces or parcels of land hereby conveyed
being described as follows:
Beginning for parcel number one (1), lying partly
in Prince George s county and partly in the District
of Columbia, at a wild cherry tree on the south side
of the main road from Marlboro to Alexandria Ferry,
in Oxon Hill District in said Prince George's county, and
running with the said side of said road north forty-eight
and one-half degrees west forty-eight perches, north
thirty-four and one-half degrees west twenty eight
and one-half perches; north eighty-three and three-
fourths degrees" west seventy four perches; south
seventy-seventy and one-half degrees west eight per-
ches; south sixty-four and one-half degrees west five
and one-fifth perches; thence leaving said road and
with the old road to Thomas' Ferry north seventy-
seven and one-half degrees. vest twelve perches;
thence north sixty-three and one-half degrees west
four and a quarter perches; thence north twenty-nine
and one-half degrees west eighteen perches to a stone;
north sixty-three and one-half degrees west twenty-
two and a quarter perches; north twenty-seven de-
grees west eight and one-half perches to a stone; north.
