AN ACT entitled an act to repeal section five of

article sixty-four of the Code of Public General
|
 
|
Laws, entitled " Mortgages," and to re-enact the
|
 
|
same with amendments.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|

of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Mort-

gages," be and the same is hereby repealed, amended

and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

5. In all mortgages there may be inserted a clause
|

authorizing the mortgagee or any other person to be
|
 
|
named therein, to sell the mortgaged premises,
|
 
|
whether lands or goods and chattels, upon such
|

are held under one or more assignments, or other-

wise, the power of sale therein contained shall be

such power, shall thereby acquire the exclusive right
to sell the mortgaged premises ; and any sale here-
