CHAPTER 115.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay

the claim of James S. Franklin.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
Comptroller
to issue war-
rant.
|
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury
be and he is hereby directed and requested to issue
his wan-ant upon the Treasurer to pay James S.
|
|
|
|
Franklin the sum of two thousand and five dollars
|
|
|
|
and ninety-two cents for fees due him as Clerk of the
|
|
|
|
Court of Appeals, upon certificate of the Comp-
troller of the Treasury.
|
|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
|
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|

CHAPTER 116.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal an act entitled "An act to
|
|
|
|
remedy and give effect to informal and invalid
|
|
|
|
deeds and to quiet possession thereunder," passed
|
|
|
|
at the January session, eighteen hundred and sev-
|
|
|
|
enty, chapter three hundred and forty-six, and to
|
|
|
|
re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That section one, chapter three hun-
|
|
|

re-enacted
with amend-
|
dred and forty-six of an act passed at January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled " An
act to remedy and give effect to informal and invalid
|
|
|
ments
|
deeds and to quiet possession thereunder," be re-
|
|
|
|
pealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read
|
|
|
|
as follows :
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That all deeds of conveyance of prop-
erty in this State which may have been recorded
|
|
