CHAPTER 17.


AN ACT to add two additional sections to article twenty-


seven of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes


and Punishments," sub-title "Railroads-Obstructing," to


follow section two hundred aud thirty-one, and to be known


as section two hundred and thirty-one A and two hun-


dred and thirty-one B, respectively.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That two additional sections be and the same are

SEC. 231 A. Any person, other than an employee, who


shall, without lawful authority, enter upon any part of any


freight train upon any railroad in this State, and ride thereon, i

any passenger train witliin this State, and conceal himself


thereon, with the intention of riding on the same, aud evad-


ing payment of fare, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and


upon conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace, or
