thirty-seven, it shall be the duty of the collector to pay

to the Jurymen immediately after the termination of

 

each and every term, such sum of money as they may

 

severally he entitled to receive for their attendance at

 

said court as Jurors.

 

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That a certificate, signed

by the clerk of the county court, expressing the num-

 

ber of days which any juryman may have attended said

 

court, and the sum due to him for such attendance, in-

 

cluding the mileage now allowed by law, shall be a

 

sufficient authority to the said collector to pay the

 

amount so specified in the said certificate.

 

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the said collector

shall annually settle his accounts with the said levy

 

court, for the monies which he may have collected un-

 

der the provisions of this act, and pay over to the said

 

levy court, any surplus remaining in his .hands, which

 

surplus, if any, shall he applied to county uses.

A supplement to an act, entitled, a further additional

supplement to an act entitled, an act for quieting

 

possessions, enrolling conveyances and securing the

 

Estates of purchasers.

 

Se it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Act of 1834, ch. 80, extended

That the act of December session eighteen hundred

 

and thirty four, chapter eighty, shall be extended to all

 

deeds or instruments of writing contemplated by said

 

act, executed in any of the States or Territories of

 

the United States, for property lying within this State

 

as fully as if the same had been taken, executed and

 

acknowledged within this State; Provided always, that

this act shall not he construed to affect any deed or

 

instrument of writing executed since the tenth of Feb-

 

uary eighteen hundred and thirty five; And provided

 

also, that in all other respects the said deeds or instru-

 

ments of writing have been executed, acknowledged

 

and recorded in conformity with the laws relating to

 

the subject at that time in force in this State.
