SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the additional elec-

paid by the commissioners of Baltimore County.

An act to provide for the pay of Jurors, in Worcester

 

County.

Levy for 1836 -7

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the Levy Court of Worcester county,

 

he, and they are hereby authorised and required to le-

 

vy on the assessable property of said county, at the

 

usual time, of making the county levy, in the year eigh-

 

teen hundred and thirty-six, such sum of money as the

 

said levy court may deem sufficient to defray the expens-

 

es which have been or may he incurred by the attendance

 

of Jurymen, at Worcester County Court, during the

 

year eighteen hundred and thirty-six, and eighteen

 

hundred and thirty-seven.

Annually hereafter

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty

in advance

of the said levy court to levy as aforesaid, in the year

 

eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, and annually there-

 

after, such sum of money as they may deem sufficient

 

to pay the expenses which may be annually incurred

 

by the attendance of Jurymen, at the Worcester County

 

Court.

Collected

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sum or sums of

 

money directed to be levied by this act, shall be collect-

 

ed by the collector of Worcester county, as other coun-

 

ty charges are now collected, and shall be accounted

 

for by them as hereinafter directed.

Payment

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That from and after the

 

first day of January, in the year eighteen hundred and
