An act relating to Constables Fees.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That from and after the passage of this act, all con-

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of

repealed

Maryland, That the fifty third section of an act of

 

the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at Decem-

 

ber session eighteen hundred and thirty four, chapter

 

two hundred and fifty one, entitled an act to enrol,

 

organize, equip and regulate the Militia of this State,

 

be, and the same is hereby repealed.

Uniform prescrib-

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the uniform for general

ed

officers, their aids de camp, and brigade inspectors,

 

field company and staff officers of the Militia of this

 

State, shall be the same with the uniform of the offi-

 

cers of the same grade in the corresponding arms of

 

the United States army excepting that the letters M.

 

M. shall he used wherever the letters U. S. are used

 

by the officers of the United States army, and in as

 

much as there is no rifle arm belonging to the said United

 

States army, to afford a pattern uniform for that arm,

 

the majority of the officers of each rifle regiment of

 

the Militia of the State, may select and establish the

 

uniform to be worn by the field company and staff of
