CHAP. 182.

said lands, which sum or sums shall be paid by the said

 

devisees, according to the proportions designated by

 

said commissioners.

SEC. S. And be it enacted, That the said commis-

 

sioners be, and they are hereby authorised and empow-

 

ered, after making the division prescribed by the first

 

section of this act, to fix and determine what would bo

 

a sufficient allowance for the annual support and edu-

 

cation of the minor children of the said William Hill,

 

and that the said commissioners shall also designate

 

what portion of said sums shall be charged upon each

 

of the allotments or divisions of said land.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That Ann S. Hill, the

 

mother of the children or devisees herein named be,

 

and she is hereby authorised to act as the guardian of

 

such of the said children and devisees as are minors,

 

until they shall respectively arrive at the age of twen-

ty-one years, and as guardian to keep together for

 

their benefit, the said land, until the election of the se-

 

veral divisions shall take place according to the provi-

 

sions of the first section of this act, and that said Ann

 

S. Hill before she proceeds to act as such guardian,

 

shall give bond to be approved of by the Orphans'

 

Court of Prince George's County, and in such penal-

 

ty as said court shall direct.

Report— survey-returns

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said commis-

 

sioners or a majority of them be, and they are hereby re-

 

quired as soon as practicable after the discharge of the

 

duties assigned them by this act, to make a particular re-

 

turn of the manner in which they have discharged such

 

duties to the County Court of said County, at its next

 

session after they have discharged said duties, and that

 

they shall cause a survey to be made of the several allot-

 

ments of said land, and a plat of the same, which it

 

shall be the duty of said commissioners to return also

 

to said County Court, which said return and plat shall

 

be recorded by the clerk of Prince George's County

Chancery authority reserved

Court as similar papers are recorded; Provided how-

 

ever, that this act shall have no effect unless upon a

 

proceeding by a bill or petition in the Court of Chan-

 

cery, or Prince George's County Court, or the Or-

 

phans' Court of said county, to which all persons in-
