by authorised to levy on the assessable property of said
county for the purpose of erecting said bridge.
Sec. 3, And be it enacted, That the commissioners ap-
pointed by virtue of this act, shall receive as a compensa-
tion for his or their services, the sum of two dollars for
each and every day he or they may act as such, to be levi-
ed, collected and paid as other county charges.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the several acts of assem-
bly, heretofore passed in relation to the erection of abridge
over Deer creek, at or near Deth's Ford or Wilson's mill,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Baltimore county,
to appoint Collector's in the cases therein mentioned.

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioners of Baltimore county be, and they are
hereby authorised to appoint a collector or collectors of
taxes from time to time, to supply any vacancy or vacancies
which may happen, by reason of the death or resignation of
a collector or collectors previously appointed, or of the
neglect or refusal of any such collector to give bond in the
manner and at the time required by the said commissioners,
any laws to the contrary notwithstanding.

An act relating to a certain Road in Baltimore county, there-
in mentioned.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the time for clearing and opening the road in Baltimore
county, laid out by Josiah Green, Amos Loney, and John
Murray, running from John Dougherty's down to the Phil-
adelphia road, near the red house, be, and the same is here-
by extended for six months from the third day of February
next, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
