CHAP. 43.

wise terminated before such writ shall be finally executed
and returned; said Writ shall be delivered to, and executed
and returned by any succeeding sheriff, coroner, of elisor,
in the same manner and to the same effect, as is provided
in respect of the execution and return of such writ by the
act aforesaid.

 

CHAPTER 42.

Passed Jan. 26, 1832

An act to repeal an act, entitled, an act to authorise the Gov-
ernor and Council to appoint an Inspector of Lumber for
the village of Arkhaven, in Cecil county, passed at Decem-
ber session, eighteen hundred and twenty-nine, chapter one
hundred and forty-one.

Repeal.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, the act entitled, An
act to authorise the Governor and Council to appoint an In-
spector of Lumber for the village of Ark haven, in Cecil
county, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
twenty nine, chapter one hundred and forty one, be, and the
same is hereby repealed.

 

CHAPTER 43.

Passed Jan.26, 1832

An act to authorise the clerk of Anne Arundel county to re-
cord the Deeds therein mentioned.

Authority to re-
cord a deed.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the clerk of Ann Arundel county be and he
is hereby authorised and required to record a Deed from
Francis Williams to Robert Williams, bearing date on the
eighth day of April in the year eighteen hundred and eigh-
teen, and a deed from Robert Williams to Francis Williams
bearing date on the same day and year.

Deeds made valid

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That these deeds when re-
corded shall be as good and sufficient in law to convey the
fee simple estates therein, mentioned, as if they had been

recorded within six months from the date thereof; Provided,
that nothing in this act shall affect the title of a purchaser
purchasing the estate mentioned in said deed or deeds after
the date of said deeds, without notice of said deed or deeds,
and provided it shall not affect the creditors of the said
