CHAPTER 112.

AN ACT to refund to Oliver P. Sparks, of Talbot
|
 
|
county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
|
 
|
into the Treasury.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State be, and
|
pay Oliver
|
he is hereby authorized and directed, upon the war-
|

|
rant of the Comptroller, to pay to Oliver P. Sparks,
|
 
|
of Talbot county, the sum of one hundred and thir-
|
 
|
teen dollars and fifty-nine cents, being the sum the
|
 
|
said Oliver P. Sparks has erroneously paid into the
|
 
|
Treasury.
|
 
|
SEC 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

effect from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

CHAPTER 113.
|
 
|
AN ACT, entitled an additional supplement to an
|
 
|
act, entitled an act to incorporate the Baltimore,
|
 
|
Catonsville a'nd Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railway
|
 
|
Company, passed at January session, eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and sixty, chapter thirty-four.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

|
Maryland, That the Baltimore, Catonsville and Elli-
|
 
|
cott's Mills Passenger Railway Company may, and is
|
 
|
hereby authorized to, use steam instead of horse-
|
 
|
power for the transportation of passengers; provided
that the Baltimore and Fredericktown Turnpike
|
 
|
Road Company shall consent to the use of steam in-
|
 
|
stead of horse-power on said railway.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the locomotives
|
 
|
used upon this road shall be smokeless, fireless and
|

noiseless, except ordinary noise and smoke from run-

ning of cars.
