time by vote of the stockholders, at a special meeting held for

that purpose, to a sum not to exceed five hundred thousand dol-

lars; and all subscriptions to such stock shall be paid at such

SEC. 6. And be it enacted. That it shall be lawful for said

company to own and hold the stock of any other corporation

State to which such corporation may belong ; and this com-

|
|
pany is authorized to enter into any agreement with any such
|
|
|
corporation deemed for the common benefit of both ; provided,
|
|
|
however, that the provisions of this Act shall apply to Harford
|
|
|
County only.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 113 to 129 inclusive of Article 23
|
|
|
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wi-
|
|
|
comico County," sub-title "Roads," as amended by Chapter
|
|
|
276 of the Acts of 1892, and as amended by Chapter 181 of
|
|
|
the Acts of 1898, as the same were repealed and re-enacted
|
|
|
with amendments by Chapter 628 of the Acts of 1902, and
|
|
|
to re-enact the same with amendments to read as follows,
|
|
|
and to add two additional sections to said Article to be desig-
|
|
|
nated as Sections 130 and 131 and to follow Section 129:

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That Sections 113 to 129 inclusive of Article 23 of the
|
Roads.
