    Manner in which tenants in tail may convey the
estates,
    If a tenant by the curtesy claim an interest in lands
about to be divided under the act to direct descents,
the commissioners shall first lay off such part on the
tenant, &c.

    If a person becomes interested as tenant to any part
after return made by the commissioners, and before
sale or division, the court to direct the return to be
altered,
    Where there is a sale the chancellor or county
court to award what portion the tenant by the curtesy
is entitled to, &c.

    Commission may issue from chancery to perpetuate
testimony on bill filed for that purpose before appearance
by defendant,
——  On motion thereof, if no good objection is made
within 12 months, the chancellor may order it to be
recorded in perpetual memory,

    The sum of money or tobacco prescribed to be
within the jurisdiction of the chancery court,
    Provision made for the sale of lands held by infants
if chargeable with the payment of money or tobacco,
