            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A road to be laid out from E. Lawes' mil; at the road
from Snow Hill to Miller's mills, to intersect a road
from Dennis's mill to Nassaongo Creek,
    An old road from Poplar-town to Purnell's bridge,
and a branch thereof, to W. Franklin's plantation, to be a
public road, &c.
    A road to be laid out, beginning at Crooksy Hill
road, thence to intersect the west line between this state
and Delaware, &c.
—From Parramore's landing to intersect the Boquetonorton
Road,
    Provisions relating to the public roads,
    So much of the act of 1816, ch. 181, as is inconsistent
with this act, repealed,
    A supplement—parts of the principal act inconsistent
therewith repealed,
    Nothing in the act to regulate the manner of obtaining
and altering the public roads in this state, to extend
to Worcester county,

    Murder committed in the perpetration or attempt to
perpetrate robbery to be deemed of the first degree,
    Every person convicted of assault, with intent to
rob, &c. to be confined in the penitentiary not less than
2 nor more than 10 years,
    Every person convicted of robbery, or as an accessary
before the fact, to restore the thing robbed, or pay
the value, and to be confined in the penitentiary not
less than 3 nor more than 10 years,
    Robbery of bonds, &c. to be punished in the same
manner as robbery or larceny of goods and chattels,

    Of St. Mary's county—money to be levied for their
support,

    Of Harford county—same,

    Town of—erected in Montgomery county,

—An addition thereto,
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a fire engine,
and to purchase ground and build a school-house,
    Rockville Academy incorporated,
    The road through Rockville from George-town, to
be altered and laid out as therein directed, &c.
    An act to make valid the proceedings of the Rockville
Roman Catholic Congregation, &c.
—An act for their benefit,
    Geese and swine prevented from going at large,
—The act of 1813, ch. 130, repealed,
