            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

—From McShan's on Taylor's ferry, on the Potomac,
to Crampton's Gap on the South Mountain,
    The road from Hancock to Cumberland, as located
by Williams and Moore, declared to be a public road,
    The old road from Hager's-town to Mesersburgh,
called the Broad Fording Road, &c. to be straightened
and amended,
   A road to be laid out from the Pennsylvania line,
where the new road from Mercersburgh ends, and
thence to the Potomac river,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Boonsborough to Swearingen's ferry on Potomac,
    A road to be laid out from Jonathan-stereet, in Hager's
town, towards Green Castle,  as far as the Pennsylvania
line,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Baltimore, through Liberty town to Hager's
town,
    The Washington and Frederick Turnpike Company
incorporated, &c.
    A road to be laid out from the farm N. Parrott,
as therein directed, to intersect the old public road
near W. Redburn's,
    Allowance to be made to supervisors of the public
roads, and to labourers thereon,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Boonsborough to the Conococheague Creek at
Williamsport,
 A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
    from Hager's-town, to intersect the Cumberland turnpike
road on the west bank of the Conococheague,
    Companies incorporated to make certain turnpike
roads through Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington
counties, &c.
    An act to incorporate a company to make a turnpike
road from Boonsborough, through Williamsport, to intersect
the road now making from Cumberland to the
west bank of the Conococheague,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the west bank of the Conococheague Creek, at
Williamsport, to intersect the Cumberland turnpike
road at or near Stone Quarry Bridge,
A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Hager's-town to intersect the turnpike road leading
from Gettysburgh, through Nicholson's Gap, to
the Pennsylvania line,
    A company incorporated for making a turnpike
road from Hager's-town to Boonsborough,

    A road to be opened from Hearn's mill to intersect
the main road leading from Salisbury to Blackfort,
    Part of the divisional road between Somerset and
Worcester counties changed,
    A road to be laid out from Winding's landing to intersect
the main road leading from Snow Hill to Philadelphia,
—From Mitchell's Causeway to intersect the Soccum
Road leading to Broad Creek, at or near the lIne
Meeting House,
    A public road to be laid out from Parker's Bay, to
intersect the post road from Horn-town in Virginia,
to Snow Hill,
    A road to be laid out from the road that leads from
Snow Hill to Salisbury, until it intersects the road
from Mary Parker's to Salisbury,
—From the plantation of W. Tonshend, on the
road from Snow Hill to Lawes' mill, to intersect the
road to Salisbury,
