murder, &c. to be sentenced to confinement in the penitentiary
not less than 2 nor more than 10 years,

store house, warehouse, or other out house, in the day,
with an intent to commit murder, &c. therein, to be

west branch to be preserved,
—A bridge to be built over, at the Rising Sun,

    Where a free white male female being an alien, intermarries
with a citizen of the United States, and resides
therein, such female to have all the privileges, &c. of a
native born citizen, so as to hold and acquire lands,
tenements, &c. and to transfer them as if born therein,
    All free white persons who emigrated or settled within
this state before the adoption of the constitution of
the United States, and had continued inhabitants,
deemed and declared to be entitled to all the immunities
of natural born citizens, so as to hold real estate,
and transfer the same, &c.

    Aliens having emigrated into this state since the adoption
of the constitution of the United States, and acquired
lands or title thereto, and having afterwards become
naturalized, to enjoy such lands, &c. as if naturalized
at the time of acquisition,
—But not to interfere with rights before acquired,

    Punishment for burning, or any magazine thereof.

    The discount or prizes in lotteries to be appropriated
to improving the navigation of the waters of the
state, &c.

    Slaves shall in all cases in which a free negro or mulatto,
or other person of colour, free or freed, is charged
with stealing goods, or with the receipt of stolen
goods, be admitted to give evidence for or against the
person accused,
    Citizens of this state owning slaves hired or employed
in the part of the District of Columbia east of the
