            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A turnpike road to be made from near Ellicott's
lower mills towards George-Town, Columbia,
    The Rockville Academy incorporated, &c.
    A road to be opened from the mouth of B. Gilpin's
lane to intersect the old road to Montgomery court-house,
at or near A. Slater's plantation,
    Money to be levied for building a clerk's office,
    The road from the court-house to Baltimore, &c.
where it passes over the land of P. B. Key, to be altered,
&c.
    A lottery authorised for opening and clearing the
road from Westminster, in Frederick county, to George
town, Columbia,
—The act of 1803, ch. 99, repealed,
    The records of the orphans court to be transcribed,
    The town of Barnesville to be erected,
    Penalty on persons erecting booths or selling liquor
within two miles of any Methodist camp or quarterly
meeting,
    The road from O. Trundle's, on Carroll's manor,
intersecting the public road at the mouth of Monocacy,
vacated,
    Money to be levied for the support of Stephen Caywood,
—Same—for the support of Henry Leeke,
    The levy court empowered to appoint a constable
for the town of Brookville,
    Money to be levied for the support of John Daily,
—Same—for the support of Brock Case,
    The trustees of the Brookville academy incorporated,
&c.
    A road to be laid out from a point on the road from
Frederick-town to Noland's Ferry, to intersect the
road from the mouth of the Monocacy to Baltimore,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the mouth of Monocacy, through Montgomery
county, to intersect the Baltimore and Frederick
turnpike road at the Poplar Springs in Anne-Arundel
county,
    The road from George-town through Rockville, to be
altered and laid off as therein directed, &c.
    Money to be levied to complete the repairs of the
gaol,
    The proceedings of the trustees of the Rockville Roman
Catholic Congregation to be recorded and made valid,
—Omission to elect trustees supplied, &c.
    A road to be laid out from Coalsville to intersect the
main road from Brookville to George-town, &c.
    The allowance to the sheriff for keeping prisoners in
gaol, &c. increased,
    A road to be laid out from the town of Unity to the
establishment of Bentley & Co. called Triadelphia, and
thence crossing the Patuxent into Anne-Arundel county,
to intersect the road from Roxbury to Elk Ridge
Landing,
    Commissioners of the school fund appointed,

    Money to be levied for the support of Evan Price,
    A road to be laid out from New Market, in Frederick
county, to the line of the district of Columbia, &c.
    Lands to be conveyed to the society of Quakers for
the establishment of a school,
    Geese and swine prevented from going at large in
Rockville, or within a quarter of a mile,
—The act of 1813, ch. 130, repealed,
    Companies incorporated to make certain turnpike
roads through Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington
counties,
—Part of the act of 1805, ch. 79, repealed,
