            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    The Library Company of Emmitsburgh incorporated,
    A lottery authorised for building a school house in
the vicinity of Taney-town,
—For purchasing ground and erecting a house for
divine worship in Frederick county,
    The county courts to be held on the first Monday in
March and the fourth Monday in October in each
year,
—Directions as to process returnable to the former
days,
    A town to be laid out, to be called Bruceville,
    A lottery authorised for repairing the road from Paul
Hawk's to the intersection of the Baltimore road, near
Franklin's tavern,
—For completing St. Lucas's Reformed Church,
    All acts done by the justice therein mentioned confirmed,
as if his name had been correctly inserted in
the commission,
    A road to be made public, &c. from Rice's mill on
Catoctin creek, as therein described, to Tramelsburgh,
    A lottery authorised for repairing the Presbyterian
and Lutheran Church in Emmitsburgh,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the Village of New Windsor, to intersect the Baltimore
and Reister's-town turnpike road,
    A lottery authorised for building a school house in
the neighbourhood of Ballinger's creek mills,
    A road to be laid out from a point on the road from
Frederick-town to Noland's ferry, to intersect the road
from the mouth of Monocacy to Baltimore,
    The Westminster Bank incorporated, &c.
    A road to be laid out from G. Shafer's to the new cut
road from Frederick-town to Hughes's coaling ground,
    The Emmitsburgh Water Company incorporated,
    The Westminster and Liberty-town Turnpike Company
incorporated, &c.
    A road to be laid out from near the Old Glass Works,
as therein directed, to Ramsburgh's meeting house,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Baltimore through Liberty-town to Hager's-town,
    The Washington and Frederick Turnpike Company
incorporated, &c.
    A lottery authorised for building a church in St.
Mark's Parish, in Frederick county,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the Frederick and Baltimore turnpike road, commencing
at the west end of Frederick-town, to Harper's
ferry,
    Part of the 7th section, and the 15th section, repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of David Cahoon,
    Certain proceedings of the orphans court made valid,
    Money to be levied for defraying the expenses under
the act of 1814, ch. 88, for erecting a new gaol,
    The unfinished records of the orphans court to be
completed,
    A road to be laid out connecting the road from Williams's
ferry, with Market-street in Frederick-town,
    A road to be laid out from New Windsor Sulphur
Springs, to Poulson's meeting house, thence to intersect
the Deer Park Road in Baltimore county,
    An allowance to be made to jurors for mileage,
