FREDERICK COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A lottery authorised for procuring a dwelling-house
for the preacher of the German Presbyterian Congregation
at Emmitsburgh, &c.
    Provision for building a bridge over Big Pipe Creek,
    A lottery authorised for making a bridge over the
river Monocacy,
    Provision for payment of damages on part of the
Baltimore and Reister's-town Turnpike Road,
    A lottery authorised for opening and clearing the
road from Westminster to George-town, Columbia,
—The act of 1803, ch. 99, repealed,
    A road to be laid out from Troup's lane to Bierley's
mill, and to intersect the road from Hager's-town to
Frederick,
    A lottery or lotteries authorised for building a steeple
to the new church in Middletown,
    Trustees appointed to sell land for a school house, &c.
and to fill vacancies, appoint teachers, &c.
    A further additional supplement to the act for the relief
of the poor,
    A road to be laid out from New town to Buckey's-town,
and thence to the turnpike road at New-Market,
    Penalty for erecting booths for selling liquor within
two miles of any Methodist camp or quarterly meeting
in Frederick county,
    The road from Trundle's farm, on Carroll's Manor,
intersecting the public road at the mouth of Monocacy,
vacated,
    A lottery authorised for completing the Lutheran
Church in Middletown, Frederick county,
    The directors of the Baltimore and Frederick Turnpike
Company empowered to extend the road,
    The trustees of the Westminster General Meeting-House
incorporated,
    A lottery authorised for completing the German Lutheran
Church in Taney-town, &c.
    The time of the meeting of the commissioners of the
tax altered,
    A road to be opened from New Windsor to intersect
the old Liberty road, &c.
    The trustees of the Jerusalem Church incorporated,
&c.
    A road to be laid out from J. Cain's tavern, on the
Harper's Ferry road, to Berlin,
    A lottery authorised for finishing a Masonic Lodge,
and for the support of a school therein,
    A fire proof building to be erected in Frederick-town
for the safe keeping of the public lands records of Frederick
county,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the turnpike near Westminster to Taney-town,
thence with the main street through Emmitsburgh,
to Troup's tavern,
    A road to be laid out from G. Shafer's to Bartgis's
paper mill, &c. to intersect the new cut road from Frederick-town
to Hughes's coaling ground,
    A cross road to be laid out from L. Hughes's farm on
the east side of Monocacy, to cross the Linganore creek,
and to intersect the Baltimore and Frederick turnpike
road, &c.
    Provision made for completing the records left unfinished
by the late clerk,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the turnpike leading from Westminster through
Harman's Gap to Hager's-town, to Emmitsburgh,
    A new gaol to be erected, and the lot on which the
old one stood sold, &c.
—A suitable building to be provided in the mean
time,
