FREDERICK COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    Fish dams, &c. prohibited in Monocacy, below the
mouth of Pipe creek,
—This act to be given in charge to the grand jury,
    Money to be levied for the support of Elias and Mary
Thompson,
    A lottery authorised for building a bridge over the
river Monocacy,
    A branch of the Farmers Bank of Maryland established
in Frederick county,
    A road to be opened from Apple's Church to intersect
the main road from Hager's town, through Charlton's
Gap, to Baltimore,
    A road to be laid out from Joshua Howard's Mills
to intersect the Baltimore and Reister's town turnpike
road in or near Westminster,
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a fire engine,
and finishing the church in Westminster,
    Directions respecting the transfer of stock, under
the act of 1804, ch. 84, concerning turnpike roads, and
for shutting up the old roads where departed from,
    The road from Woodsborough to Frederick town to
be reviewed, &c.

    A road from Hughes' Coaling Ground to Frederick-town
to be opened, &c.
    The levy court authorised to repair the old gaol
or erect a new one,

a seminary of learning at Middletown,

worship and school adjacent to Union Mills,
    A road to be opened from Emmitsburgh through the
South Mountain, to the road from Hager's-town to
Baltimore,

    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Westminster through Harman's Gap to Hager's-town,
in Washington county,

    A road to be laid out from Ungefear's blacksmith
shop on the old road from Liberty-town to Baltimore,
to intersect the Baltimore and Reister's-town turnpike
road at or near the west end of Westminster,
    Provision for filling vacancies in the board of visitors
of Frederick County School,
—For appointing a president of the board,
—Parts of the act of 1801, ch. 11, repealed,
    The line to be established between Frederick and
Washington counties,
