INDEX TO THE LAWS.
The public ground in the town of Easton,
with the
court house, &c. vested in the levy court of Talbot
county, for the accommodation of the court of appeals
for the eastern shore, the county court, and other
county or state purposes,
The powers of the commissioners enlarged
as to levying
taxes, &c.

thereto

No part of the principal arising from

The sheriffs directed, under the penalty
of fifty dollars,
to cause public notice to be given three weeks, by
advertisements set up at the most public places, of the
time and place of holding the several elections,
Ballot boxes and books to be provided
by the sheriffs,
and delivered to the judges, under the penalty of 500
dollars,
The judges of the levy courts shall
appoint between
the first Monday of April and of August, in every year, |
