            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    Talbot, Caroline, and the first election district of
Dorchester county, the eighth,
    The remainder of Dorchester county, Somerset and
Worcester counties, the ninth,
    Each district to elect one person resident therein, except
the third and fourth, which shall each be entitled
to two,
    The elections to be held in the several districts established
by 1799, ch. 50, except where altered as therein
stated,
    For all elections for representatives, electors, &c. in
the city of Baltimore, and for sheriffs therein, as a part
of the county, the city divided into eight wards or districts,

   The election districts in Saint Mary's county altered
from three to four,

    To be laid off by commissioners,
    The place of holding the election in the first election
district in Baltimore county to be changed,
—Same as to the first election district in Montgomery
county,
—Same as to the fifth election district in Baltimore
county,
    Regimental Cavalry districts established,
    The place of holding the elections to be changed in
the third election district in Cæcil county,
    Part of the election district No. 1 added to district
No. 2, in Worcester county,
—Not to interfere with the business of the commissioners
of the tax under 1812, ch. 191,
    The place of holding the elections in the first election
district in Kent county to be altered,
—Same as to the third election district in Worcester
county,
—Same as to the second election district in Saint
Mary's county,
—Same as to the third election district in Caroline
county,
    The election districts in Prince-George's county
altered from five to six,

—The additional district to be laid off adjoining and
between the 2d, 3d and 5th districts,

    The election districts in Allegany county altered
from six to eight,

—Commissioners appointed for laying off the said
districts,

    The election districts in Dorchester county altered
from three to five,
—Provisional appointment of commissioners to lay
off the said districts,
    The place of holding the elections in the first election
district in Harford county altered,
    The judges of the fifth election district in Washington
county empowered to hold the elections in any
house in Hancock town,
    The city of Baltimore, as enlarged, to be divided into
eight election districts, pursuant to the act of 1798,
ch. 115,
—Commissioners appointed to fix new places for
holding elections in the 1st and 4th districts of Baltimore
county,
    The place of holding the elections in the second
election district in Anne-Arundel county altered,
