DISTRICTS

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    The division line between districts No. 4 and 5, in
Washington county, to be closed and completed as
therein directed,
    Commissioners appointed to review and alter the
election districts, and the places of holding the elections
in Saint Mary's, Cæcil, Washington, Allegany,
and Prince George's counties,
—The alterations to be delivered to the county clerk
to be recorded,
    As many lists of the monies levied for county charges
as there are election districts, to be made out annually,
and set up by the sheriffs at the places of holding
the elections as therein directed,

    Frederick county to be divided into nine districts
instead of seven,
—To be laid off by commissioners accordingly,

    The state divided into six judicial districts,

    Saint Mary's, Charles, and Prince-George's counties,
to be the first,
    Cæcil, Kent, Queen-Anne's, and Talbot counties,
to be the second,
    Calvert, Anne-Arundel and Montgomery counties,
to be the third,
    Caroline, Dorchester, Somerset, and Worcester
counties, to be the fourth,
    Frederick, Washington, and Allegany counties, to
be the fifth,
    Baltimore and Harford counties to be the sixth,

    The place of holding elections in the 4th district in
Montgomery county changed to Coalesville,
    The state divided into eight districts for the purpose
of electing nine representatives to Congress,
    Saint Mary's, Charles, and Calvert counties, the
first,
    Prince George's and Anne-Arundel counties, including
the city of Annapolis, the second,
    Montgomery, and that part of Frederick county adjacent
as far as Monocacy from the mouth thereof to
the Pennsylvania line, the third,
    The remainder of Frederick, Washington county,
and Allegany county, the fourth,
    Baltimore city and Baltimore county the fifth, and
entitled to two representatives, one a resident of the
county, and the other of the city,
    Harford, Cæcil, and Kent counties, the sixth,
    Queen-Anne's, Caroline, and Talbot counties, the
seventh,
    Dorchester, Somerset, and Worcester counties, the
eighth,
    The state divided into nine districts, for the purpose
of choosing eleven electors of the president and vice-president
of the United States,
    Saint Mary's, Charles, and the fifth election district
of Prince-George's county, the first,
    The residue of Prince George's county, Calvert, and
the third and fourth election districts in Montgomery
county, the second,
    The remainder of Montgomery county, Anne-Arundel
county, the city of Annapolis, and the city of Baltimore,
the third,
    Frederick, Washington, and Allegany counties,
the fourth,
    Baltimore county, the fifth,
    Harford and Cæcil counties, the sixth,
    Kent and Queen-Anne's counties, the seventh,
