            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    And her children, of Anne-Arundel county—money
to be levied for their support,

    Of Baltimore county—same,

    Of St. Mary's county—same,

    Every person, his aiders, &c. convicted of stealing,
cutting away, &c. any buoy, in the Patapsco or Chesapeake,
placed as therein mentioned, to be sentenced to
confinement in the penitentiary not exceeding seven
years,

    Murder committed in the perpetration, or attempt to
perpetrate burglary, to be deemed of the first degree,
    Every person convicted of burglary, or as an accessory
before the fact, to restore the thing taken, or pay
the value, and to be sentenced to confinement in the penitentiary
not less than 3 nor more than 10 years,
—Punishment for breaking a dwelling house in the
day time, or a store house, &c. by day or night, with
intent to commit murder or felony, or a shop, &c. and
stealing goods, &c.

    A road to be opened from the Christiana road to the
road leading from Lancaster,
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a fire engine for
Elkton, &c.
    Cæcil, Kent, Queen-Anne's and Talbot counties,
from the second judicial district,

    A supplement to the act of November 1787, ch. 18,
for the relief of the poor,
    A road to be opened from the Pennsylvania line
where it is intersected by a road from Lancaster to
Susquehanna,
—From the warehouse at the north end of the Susquehanna
canal to the Pennsylvania line,
    The county court to be held on the first Monday in
April and September,
