CÆCIL COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

Harford, Cæcil, and Kent counties, form the sixth
district for electing representatives to Congress,
     Harford and Cæcil counties form the sixth district
for choosing electors of president and vice-president,
    The proprietors of the water and land stages authorised
to open a road from French-town to intersect
the divisional line between this state and Delaware,
    A road to be opened from Stone Run near Octoraro
Creek, to intersect the road from Christiana to Bald
Friar Ferry,
    The commissioners of Charles-town authorised to
erect a house of religious worship, and to hold a lot as
therein mentioned,
    A road to be opened from the Bald Friar Ferry, on
the Susquehanna, to the Pennsylvania line,
    Swine and geese prevented from going at large in or
near Frederick Town,
—Same as to geese in North Sassafras, &c.
    The destruction of crows encouraged,
    A lottery authorised for finishing the Elkton Academy,
&c. and paving and improving the streets,
    A road to be laid out from Ferguson Smith's to Marley
Mills, &c.
    A board of agriculture established,
    The trustees of the Lower West Nottingham Presbyterian
Congregation empowered to hold the lands therein
mentioned,
    Two public roads to be laid out, one from Wallace's
Mill, on Octoraro Creek, the other from J. Brooke's
gate to the road leading from Creswell's Ferry to Lancaster,
    Commissioners authorised to meet and bound Elkton,
    A patent directed for a lot in East Nottingham in
trust for the education of poor children,
—Power given to the trustees to sell the same, and
vest the proceeds in other property,
—The act of 1793, ch. 37, repealed,
    The New Castle and French Town Turnpike Company
incorporated, &c.
—The Act revived, &c.
    A road to be laid out from the road leading from the
Rising Sun to Charles Town, thence to intersect the
road from the Pennsylvania  line, to Creswell's Ferry,
    Penalty on persons setting up booths for selling liquors,
&c. near the Methodist Camp or Quarterly
Meetings,
 

    The Elkton Bank of Maryland incorporated, &c.
 

    A road to be opened from the Nottingham Road to
meet a road from Susquehanna at R. Cochran's
—From the Presbyterian Meeting House in West
Nottingham to Creswell's Ferry,
    The road from the bridge over Principio Creek to
North East Creek to be reviewed, &c.
    An academy established near Lower West Nottingham
Presbyterian Meeting House,
    A road to be laid out from a point near Dysart's Tavern,
on the road to Newark, to intersect the road to
Garrett's Fulling Mill,
—The act of 1810, ch. 167, repealed,
    The place of holding the election in the third election
district changed—the act of 1810, ch. 14, repealed,
    The name of Creswell's Ferry changed to Port Deposit,
