BRIDGES

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

he shall, on conviction, be fined not exceeding $500,
and suffer imprisonment not exceeding 6 months,
    Any judge, or other person concerned in the administration
of justice, taking any illegal fee, gift, &c. to
influence his behaviour in office, and any person giving
money, &c. with such intent, to be deemed guilty of
bribery, and on conviction sentenced to confinement in
the penitentiary not less than 2 nor more than 12 years,
and disqualified from holding any office for ever thereafter,
    Bribery of jurors.  See Embracery.  Jurors.
    If any candidate, or other person, shall, before or on
the day of any election under the act of 1805, ch. 97,
give or promise any gift or reward to secure any vote
or ballot, he shall, on conviction, be fined not exceeding
500 dollars, and suffer imprisonment not exceeding
6 months,

support,

    A bridge to be built over the Falls of Gunpowder in
Baltimore, and Winter's Run in Harford county,
—Over Ashton's Ford on Patuxent river,

—Over Chester River at Chester-Town,

—Over the Western Branch near Upper Marlborough,
—Over a branch of Patuxent at or near the mill of

—Across Jones's Falls in Baltimore,
—Over Great Choptank River in Caroline county,
—Over the North West Fork River in Caroline
county,
—Over Tuckahoe Creek,

—Over Susquehanna,

—Over Big Pipe Creek in Frederick county,
—Over Deer Creek in Harford county,
—Over Choptank River near Dover ferry,

—Over Monocacy in Frederick county,

—Over Choptank near Denton ferry,

incorporated,

—Over the White Marsh Run, in Baltimore county,
—Over the Potomac, near Willamsport,

    Bridges to be built over Patuxent at Queen-Anne,
