            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    Bonds of trustees in cases of insolvent debtors, how
to be given and recorded,
    In case of the death of an appellant on appeal or writ
of error, where the cause is under rule argument, the
suit not to abate, and the bond and securities to be liable
as if the appellant were alive,
    Robbery or larceny of a bond punishable in the
same manner as of goods and chattels,
—Punishment for receiving, knowing to be stolen,
—Punishment for forging, &c.
    Bond to be given under the act to direct descents, to
bear interest from the day of election, and made payable
in instalments, &c.
    Where two or more persons are jointly bound, and
one or more of the obligors die, his or their representatives
may be proceeded against as if bound severally
as well as jointly,

    Bonds to be taken for arms delivered to the militia,

    Public bonds to the state to be expressed in the money
hereby made current,
—But the omission not to discharge the obligor,
    Bond required on behalf of the managers of the free
schools in Baltimore city and precincts, on receiving
from the orphans court funds from the estates of intestates
not having legal representatives,
    Bond may be given under the supplements to the act
to direct descents, to the state, for the representatives
instead of each representative.  See Descents.
    Bond to be annually given by the Printer to the
State,
    Bond to be given by the trustee for the sale of Indian
lands in Dorchester county,
—By trustees under the act for the sale of real estates 
of minors,
    On the allowance of any writ of certiorari to remove
proceedings under the act for the speedy recovery of
lands and tenements, or in cases of forcible entry, &c.
bond to be given in the penalty and with security as
adjudged by the court, &c. for payment of all costs and
damages incurred,
    Bond to be given by natural guardians, or those appointed
by will, with security approved by the orphans
courts,
    Bonds of clerks and registers liable to be put in suit
on default concerning the recording of proceedings,
    Bond to be given by the managers of certain lotteries
for payment of five per cent. on the prizes,
—To be given by the commissioners of lotteries,
—Suits when to be brought thereon,
—Bonds for tickets sold for the state to be transmitted
to the treasurer,
—Bonds required on lotteries consolidated,
    Bonds to be given by constables in Baltimore,
    Bond to be given by commissioners appointed to
close the concerns of banks,
    Bond to be given by brokers on obtaining license,

    On judgments as therein directed the sum to be levied
of the goods, &c. of the deceased, or of the administrator,
&c.

    The county courts empowered, on motion at the first
court after the appearance court, supported by affidavit,
that the same is not intended for delay, and on due notice
being given, to require the parties to produce copies,
certified by a justice of the peace, of all such parts
