            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    The insufficiency of assets to be pleaded by executors
or administrators—proceedings on such pleas,
    Directions as to cases before referred to an auditor,
    The crop growing on the land of a deceased person
at the time of his death, to be assets,
    On complaint of a joint administrator the letters
may be revoked, and a delivery of the assets enforced,
    Interest on money due for property sold, and on money
received for the hire of slaves, to be considered as
assets,

    Of a bond, &c. punishment for forging,

    On assignment of a judgment confessed before a justice
of the peace, with stay of execution, a demand by
the assignee, on the principal debtor, necessary for obtaining

    Commissions to issue to, and the county courts to

of the peace they may be attached and fined,
    Attachment may be issued against a person for whose
use a suit is entered, on non suit, &c. as if he had been
security for costs,

from the court of appeals on judgments in the late general
court,
—Such attachments to be issued and made returnable
to the county courts, on judgments in the court of
appeals,
    Attachments to be ordered from the county courts for
costs, as therein mentioned, awarded by the late general
court,
    Attachments may be issued by the orphans' courts
against guardians, executors and administrators, refusing
to deliver over property on revocation of their
appointments or letters,
    A person arrested on attachment, &c. and permitted
to go at large may be again arrested before the return
day, or during the term, &c.
