the Liberty-Town road, and making the same passable. |
Supervisors to be
appointed. |
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said levy court
shall immediately,
or as soon as possible after the said money is levied, appoint
a supervisor or supervisors, who shall, under their direction,
lay out the said money in repairing the bridges and mending the
worst places in the said road, and making the same passable for
loaded wagons, between where it intersects the Reister's-town
turnpike and Freedom-town.

Levy court to appoint
an overseer. |
BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the justices of the levy court of Baltimore county, be and they
are hereby authorised and directed, as soon as may be after the
passage of this act, to appoint an overseer on that part of the road
in the original act mentioned, passed at November session eighteen
hundred and ten, chapter sixty-four, to which this is a further supplement,
so far as the same may be in Baltimore county; and that
the same shall be kept in repair as other public roads in said county
are kept in repair. |

CHAP. V.
An Act for the benefit of John Smock, of Worcester County.

Levy authorised
for his support. |
BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the justices of the levy court of Worcester county shall, and they
are hereby directed and empowered, at their levy court annually,
so long as they shall see cause, to levy on the assessable property
of said county, a sum of money not exceeding forty dollars, nor
less than twenty-five, for the support and maintenance of John
Smock, of said county; and the same when collected, shall be paid
by the collector of said county, to said John Smock or his order,
for the purpose aforesaid. |

CHAP. IV.
An Act to change the place of holding the Election in the Fifth
Election

1. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That
the election in the fifth district in Baltimore county, heretofore
held at Nicholas Merryman's tavern on the old York road,
shall hereafter be held at Nicholas Merryman's new building on
the York turnpike, to which he intends in a short time to remove
and occupy as a tavern. |

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the judges of the
said district,
shall make out a certificate of the same under their hands and
seals, and return it to the clerk of Baltimore county court, to be
recorded; and the same shall be, and continue to be the place of
holding the election in the fifth district of Baltimore county. |
