the United States Ship " Santee " is now moored,
and perpendicular to the southeast front of said
wharf one hundred and thirty feet therefrom, at which
said point is set a buoy marked " No. 2; " thence
in a northeasterly direction, with a line running par-
allel to the southeast front of said wharf, and one
hundred and thirty feet therefrom, until the same in-
tersects a line miming parallel to the north east front
of said wharf, and one hundred and thirty feet there-
from, at which point of intersection is placed a buoy
marked "No. 3; " thence in a northwesterly direc-
tion with said line parallel to the northeast front of
said wharf, until the same intersects a line running
parallel to the northwest front of said wharf, at a dis-
tance of two hundred feet therefrom, at which point
of intersection is placed a buoy marked " No. 4,"
near the present mooring of the Ignited States Ship
"Dale;" thence in a southwesterly direction with
said line parallel to the northwest front of said wharf,
two hundred feet therefrom, until the same inter-
sects a line running parallel to the northeast sea
wall of said Naval School, and at a distance of three
hundred and thirty feet therefrom, at which point of
Intersection is set a buoy marked "No. 5; thence
in a northwesterly direction with said line paral-
lel to the said northeast sea wall, until the same
intersects a continuation into the water of the
line of the northwest side of Maryland avenue,
as extended through the Naval School grounds,
at a point one hundred feet from the wharf at
the foot of said Maryland avenue, at which point
of intersection is set a buoy marked " 6;" thence to
a point in the line of the southeast side of Tabernacle
street extended into the water one hundred feet from
the corner of the sea wall of said Naval School and
said line of Tabernacle street, at which point of in-
tersection is set a bouy marked " 7;" thence with
the line of Tabernacle street reversed, to said corner;
thence turning back and successively reversing the
direction of the said several courses, and running
with the present water line of the said Naval School
grounds, with the meanders of the sea walls, wharves,
and shores of the said grounds, to the point of beginning; provided, always, that this grant and cession of
