Mr. Timmons, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, repotted A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact section 13, of the Act of 1867, chapter 303, relating to the Worcester County Railroad Company. Which was read the first time. Senate Joint Resolutions, instructing the Senators and Representatives in Congress to use all proper means to in- duce Congress to make an appropriation to deepen the Patuxent River, and place buoys on the bars and shoals of said river, Were read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Williams, Leave was granted to Messrs. Williams, Earle and Sell- man to report a hi 11 to add new sections to Article V., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Calvert County," re- lating to the duties of the County Commissioners of said county.
