The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the 20th section

of the Act of 1866, chapter 43, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the Pfesident and Directors of the Baltimore and Pikes-
ville Railroad Company of Baltimore, and enact a substitute
therefor.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the

charter of the Fire Insurance Company of Allegany county,
so as to enable said Company to declare semi-annual instead

of annual dividends.

Mr. Merrick, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means reported favorably without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to direct the Comptroller
to issue his warrant to the Treasurer, to pay George Colton-

& Son the sum of twenty-four hundred and ninety-five dol-
lars and forty-seven cents.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Baltimore county to complete the re-

cords in his office, and to provide new indices to the land
records therein, and to provide the means for paying there-
for.

Also, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to transfer the sum of money ap-
propriated by chapter 303, section 1, Acts of General Assem-
bly of 1860, to the Elkton and Sassafras Railroad Company,
from said Company to the Elkton and Massey's Railroad
Company.

Which was read a first time. "

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judici-
ary, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 58, as amended by
chapter 348, of Acts passed 1868, and sixty of Article six-
teen of the Code of Public General Laws, under the title of
"Chancery," sub-title "Jurisdiction," and to re-enact the

same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend certain portions of the Act

entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford coun-
ties Boom Company, passed at the January session of 1867,
