ticle 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Wash-
ington County," sub-title "Crier," and to re-enact the same
as amended, reported it without amendment.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 296 and 312, of
Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
add a sub-section thereto, reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time. Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred the
Senate bill entitled an Act to protect birds of every descrip-
tion in Washington county, excepting owls, hawks, doves,
wild pigeons, woodcock, jacksnipe, and reed birds. Reported it with the following amendment :
Amend title by adding after the word "hawks," the
words: doves, wild pigeons, woodcock, jacksnipe and reed
birds. Which was read and adopted. Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for the third reading. Mr. Clarke, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of
monies expended in repairing abridge near Monkton in Bal-
timore county,
Reported it without amendment.

ferred House bill entitled an Act for the relief of Daniel
Ammen, of A. A. county, and authorizing the Commis-
sioners of said county to correct errors in his assessment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Bachman
Valley Railroad Company,
Being on the second reading,
Mr. Brown submitted the following amendment : Strike out section 11, and enact in lieu thereof, the fol-
lowing: Section 11. And be it enacted. That when the said corpo-
ration shall have completed their main line between the points
named in section 1st, they shall then extend the said main
line to intersect the Western Maryland Railroad, at or near
