A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, in
relation to Horses and Carriages kept at livery in Frederick-
town.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Senators
from Frederick, Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties.

A bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act to
incorporate the Broadway and Locust Point Steam Ferry
Company of Maryland, and to grant on certain conditions
the right to use the wharf known as the county wharf, ap-
proved March 28,1868.

Which Wets read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to prohibit stock from running at
large in and around Catonsville, in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners of
Baltimore county to appoint an additional Constable for dis-
trict No. 5, in said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate Towsontown, in Bal-
timore county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 89 of Article 21, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Washington Coun-
ty," sub-title "Crier," and to re-enact the same as amended.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Washington and Harford counties, and the 1st legisla-
tive district of Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Article of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Refuge, House of," byadding
two sections thereto, declaring that hereafter female minors
shall not be committed to said Institution, and authorizing
it to place in other Institutions the females now under its
charge.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to the Act of 1867,
chapter 354, incorporating the Queenstown and Harrington
Railway Company.
