tion of the Act of the Genera] Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January session, 1864, chapter 29, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Kent county Rail Road Company, passed on
the 8th day day of March, 1856, chapter 148, to add 4 sec-
tions thereto, and to appoint 4 new Commissioners in the
place of 4 deceased Commissioners,

Was considered, and order to lie over.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 36, Article 19,
of the Public Local Laws, title Somerset county, regulating
the terms of the Circuit Court for Somerset county, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,

Returned Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the
Atlantic and George's Creek Coal Company of Baltimore, to
reduce its capital stock and to levy an assessment upon its
said reduced number of shares.

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays."

House bill entitled an Act to appoint certain persons there-
in named as Commissioners, to purchase a site and location
for the erection of a court house and jail in the town of Salis-
bury, the county seat of Wicomico county, and for other
purposes therein mentioned, relating thereto,

Was taken up, and

Mr. Denson moved to postpone the consideration of the
bill.

Which was determined in the negative by yeas and nays
as follows:
