The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4 of chapter
162 of the Acts of 1865, entitled an Act to add additional
sections to Article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled Testamentary Law, and relating to sales of real
estate by order of Orphans' Courts, to come in after section
328 of said Article, and to insert in said Article, in lieu of
the section so repealed, the following section relating to sales
of real estate, by order of Orphans' Courts.

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Biggs, Kimmel,
Clarke, Lee,
Carroll, Parker, of Calvert,
Denson, Spates,
Earle, Snyder,
Grove, Smith,
Henkle, Walsh—16.

NEGATIVE—None.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap-
ter 366, entitled an Act making appropriation for the sup-
port of the Government for the year ending on the first day
of January,1869, and to substitute the following in lieu
thereof.

Which was read the second time.
Also, reported favorably

House joint resolution to repay to Henry P. Rose and
others the accounts paid by them respectively on receiving
commissions as Constables, which commissions have been de-
cided by the Court of Appeals to be void.

Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the
January session, 1868, entitled an Act to amend the 4th sec-
