634 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23, Earle, Snyder, Henkle, Smith, Hammond, Walsh—11. Lee, NEGATIVE. Messrs. Clarke, Grove—3, Denson, For want of a constitutional majority, And returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Walsh offered the following order : Ordered, that on and after to-morrow, the 24th March, the Senate will meet at 11 o'clock, A. M., sit until 3 o'clock, P. M., then take a recess until 5 P. M., meet at that hour, and remain in session until 7 P. M., then take a recess until 8 P. M., then meet and remain in session until 11 P. M. Which was rejected. On motion by Mr. Grove, The vote by which the Wicomico bill was rejected, Was reconsidered, and The bill laid on the table. On motion by Mr. Snyder, The Senate adjourned until to-morrow, at 11, A. M. |
