An Act to authorize the Mayor and Councilmen of
the city of Cumberland to purchase in the limits of said city
not exceeding 33 acres of land, to be conveyed to the Balti-
more and Ohio Rail Road Company, for the purpose of erect-
ing thereon a rolling mill and other improvements, and to
issue bonds to pay for the same.

An Act to amend the charter of the Meredith Ford and
Jarrettsville Turnpike Company, in Baltimore and Harford
counties.

An Act to amend the charter of the Baltimore and Hamp-
den Passenger Rail Road Company, passed at January ses-
sion, 1865, chapter 32.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of Washington and Allegany coun-
ties to levy a sum of money upon the taxable property
within their respective counties sufficient to pay the several
Clerks of the Registers of Voters in their said counties,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and,nays as,
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Clarke, Malone,
Denson, Parker, of Calvert,
Fields, Spates,
Hyland, Snyder,
Hammond, Walsh,
Lee, Welch—14.

NEGATIVE—None.
The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act. entitled an
Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Havana Steamship-
Company, passed at January session, in the year 1856, chap-
ter 54,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
